Since 1982, Bartec has been a dynamic presence in the solar energy sector in the Greek market, offering integrated solutions involving products of high aesthetics, quality and functionality and manufactured under strict specifications, which are addressed to modern residences and business spaces, fully covering the needs of bathrooms and kitchens, as well as any other need for hot water, achieving great savings.
Activity
The company’s activity includes the manufacturing and trading of:
- Solar water heaters for the generation of domestic hot water from purely renewable energy sources, effectively contributing to energy resource savings and reduced air pollutants
- High-performance solar collectors that use selected and recyclable materials in their entirety, in accordance with international specifications
- Electric water heaters covering domestic hot water supply needs, in accordance with international energy certification specifications
- Dual Energy Boilers, Boiler-Room Boilers and Buffer Tanks for the storage of hot water produced from renewable solar sources in conjunction with heating systems

Course
Bartec was founded in 1982 as a General Partnership, active in the production of solar water heaters and solar collectors. In 2007 Bartec was restructured, continuing its activities in a Limited Liability Company.
In 2012 it was transformed into a Société Anonyme with a registered office on the 12th km of the Thessaloniki – Edessa Road (Old National Road of Thessaloniki – Veria), where storage and production areas are housed in facilities of 2,000 sq.m., while other storage areas are housed in facilities of 1,000 sq.m. in the Thessaloniki Industrial Area.
The main purpose of its transformation was to change its identity from a production company to a manufacturing, production and commercial company, aiming primarily to increase its market share, offering integrated solutions involving products of high aesthetics, quality and functionality and manufactured under strict specifications, which are addressed to modern residences and business spaces, fully covering any need for domestic hot water, achieving great savings.

The modern, state-of-the-art production machines (Ultrasonic, Laser Welding), the design of each product according to CE standards, the modern production methods according to ISO 9001:2015, the monitoring of all production stages through ERP for the identification of each product, its marking and quality control, all contribute to the manufacturing of products that comply with strict specifications and are highly durable, ensuring the satisfaction of all our customers.
Raw materials and all consumables are purchased from CE-certified companies such as Halcor, Sidma, Elvial, as well as the German company Almeco.
Bartec aims to use 100% recyclable materials in its products and, in conjunction with solar energy for the provision of domestic hot water, to contribute to a cleaner environment. At the same time, it follows the developments on new materials that absorb solar energy, as well as new automated production machines that it can include in its production line, in order to create new products that will optimise efficiency and economy.
